  3.  Customer Order Management System ("COMS")  is a comprehensive software package
  4.  for  use  by  manufacturers, distributors,  or  anyone  that  needs to  manage
  5.  customer orders.   COMS creates and maintains a database of customers, orders,
  6.  delivery  schedules, and actual  shipments and produces  customized detail and
  7.  summary  order  status reports  and shipment  forecasts.   The  user interface
  8.  features pull-down menus, text windows, context-sensitive help, and full mouse
  9.  support which  make it easy to learn and use.   Includes pop-up calculator and
  10.  calendar.

  28.  The COMS program and related files are  compressed and combined into one self-
  29.  extracting  installation   program,   "COMS13.EXE".     File  extraction   and
  30.  installation  requires approximately  550,000 bytes  of free  disk space.  The
  31.  software can be installed to a floppy or hard disk provided you have
  32.  sufficient free disk space.  COMS13.EXE extracts the following files:

  34.      COMS.EXE     - COMS Executable Program.
  35.      ISAMREPR.EXE - Database Repair Utility.
  36.      PRINTMAN.BAT - Batch File That Prints User's Manual.
  37.      REGISTER.DOC - Registration Form.
  38.      MANUAL.DOC   - User's Manual.
  39.      VENDOR.DOC   - Information For Shareware Distributors.
  40.      PACKING.LST  - Packing List Of Files.
  41.      OMBUDSMN.DOC - ASP Ombudsman Information.
  42.      ISAMREPR.DOC - Instruction For ISAMREPR.EXE Utility.
  43.      SAMPLE.MDB   - DataBase Of Sample Data.

  45. ~3f INSTALLATION:~30 Use the following syntax for extracting the files:

  47.                      COMS13 [drive:][path]
  48.  
  49.  For example,  ~3fCOMS13 C:\COMS~30  will extract and install the software on
  50.  drive ~3fC:~30 in a directory named ~3fCOMS~30.

  52. ~3f AFTER INSTALLATION:~30 Change to the directory that you installed the software to
  53.  and type ~3fPRINTMAN~30 to print User's Manual, or type ~3fCOMS~30 to run program.
